Padge Plays! Indie Edition - Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic (2015 - The Bitfather) Pixel Heroes Gameplay
Welcome to Padge Plays! Indie Edition
This time around we're taking a trio of tepid adventurers in to the unknown for untold riches, (maybe) in Pixel Heroes: Byte and Magic by The Bitfather! Pixel Heroes is a RPG Roguelike with a kooky sense of humour and at times brutal RNG. You are tasked with completing quests from the locals in the town of Pixton which will earn you money, better loot and over time higher stats which in turn will allow you to take on even harder quests and monsters and prevail! Or not, depending on your luck.
Usually in a Padge Plays video I would show you the game from the start but in this one there are over 25 different adventurers to play with which means find three which gel well enough not to get your ass handed to you straight away is something you can only achieve by playing with all of them over several hours but in a test run I have found 3 which seem to get along well enough to be able to show you a good chunk of the game before I inevitably get them killed anyway so we're jumping in on the third foray in to riches and dangers untold! Suffice to say it doesn't take long before it all goes belly up!
-- ABOUT THE GAME --
"Listen! The end is nigh!! Hear my words and prepare! An ancient cult has set foot in our lands! They call themselves -The Sons of Dawn- and pray to some dark elder god. They have started recruiting people for their cause all over the country. I fear that they want to try to awaken something which should be left sleeping. Something dangerous and sinister! Something that might destroy us all. Spend your last of days wisely..."
